As a complete soil, Blended Earth has proven to be as good as or better than almost every other competing product. Virtually all other commercially available mushroom compost products have gone through extensive exposure to the elements and/or dehydrating to make it much drier and less expensive to handle or ship. Through this process, the mushroom compost loses much of its fertile base and ability to hold water and nutrients.
